Three Exercises To Reduce Cellulite Thighs

Lindsay suggested targeted exercises might be one way to fight cellulite in general. But what if more specifically you want to target the dimples on your thighs and bottom?


In that case just what type of exercises to reduce cellulite thighs should one look into exactly? In other words what's the best exercise to get rid of cellulite on your thighs or rear end?

One word for you: SQUATS.

Regular squats work, but super squats (doing them while grasping a 5 pound dumb bell in each hand) are even better.

Doing four sets of 10 squats each should about do it. Here's how…

Stand with your feet about hip width apart with your arms straight at your side holding the dumbbells if you go that route.

From that start position you want to squat down as if to sit down. Go down as far as you can. Then using your glute and thigh muscles straighten back up.

If you are doing this right you will feel it.

Another good exercise is lunges.
With your arms straight by your side, take a step forward with your left leg. As you're doing so you want to dip your hips to your right knee bends toward the floor. Using your right leg push back up to the standing position. With lunges you'll feel the strain in your inner thighs and your rear end.
Repeat the lunge movement 10 time for each leg. Again four sets is about right.

Given the effectiveness of those two let's not forget simple walking. A study at University of Maryland reported that nothing more than walking reduced the thigh circumference in the group of women being tested by 4 percent in only six weeks. Which is something to keep in mind when looking for the best exercise to get rid of cellulite on your thighs.
