Catherine Bruen was one tough branch manager for a local florist shop chain in West Bend Indiana. She approached her workout with the same mindset.


"I learned early on, she stated, "that a stability ball workout is a good way to slim my hips. Still I especially like side-lying leg lifts which are done without a ball. This is how you do them."

• Lie on your left side on the floor.
• Prop your head up with your right hand.
• Create a bit of a support base by bending
your right knee and using your left hand
on the floor in front of you for balance.
• Count to 10 slowly, lift your left leg not quite
to 90 degrees.
• Tighten your tummy muscles to stabilize yourself
as needed.
• Hold it. • Lower back down to the same slow count of 10.

"I like to do 5-10 repetitions on each side," Catherine said. "Also sideways leg lifts like these are great exercises to slim and tone thighs. You'll find this little routine will lean out your legs, define your thighs, and slim down your hips."

"Another of the exercises to slim and tone thighs I like is the Step Lunge."

It's quick, simple and gets results.

• Start off standing with your feet together.
• Slip one leg step back and lower yourself until the
front of your thigh is about parallel to the floor. • Straighten and slip your other leg back

You might do five reps with each leg.

What I do is do one after breakfast and the other after dinner. Most every day that I'm not working late. It's guaranteed to give you a walk away view to die for. You know? I'm talking about the view from the rear you give others you walk away? These two routines will shape and really tone up your butt and thighs.

No I guess this isn't specifically a one of the exercises to slim inner thighs, but it's close enough.
