To burn off the fat, you need to work out at or near your peak fat burning heart rate.


To ball park it, you want to be working out hard enough to work up a sweat. But not so hard you can't talk and exercise at the same time.

The idea is to elevate your heart rate just not too much. Typically 65% of your maximum heart rate is best for fat loss. While 80% is what you want for a decent cardiovascular workout.

Variety means rather than just doing running on the treadmill day after day. Alternate with another fat burner like the Stairmaster. Next day the cross trainer. If you want to do them all the same day allot varying amounts of time to each machine.

This approach works different muscle groups too. Good for all around fitness.
