Exercise To Lose Inches: Fitness Jump Rope Workout
How To Turn One of the Best Cardiovascular Workout Regimes Into a Leaner, Fitter You
So far so good for the 26 year old medical assistant, Courtney Zimmerman. With two months of sweat behind her, she's within spitting distance of her target weight.
|
In large part she owned her success to her total fitness jump rope workout.
"While you can't necessarily equate 'jumping rope/whole body workout' it's still a pretty good deal for your lower body," Zimmerman asserted.
"But aside from giving you one heck of an overall work out," she added, "it's a great way to get in a cardiovascular workout at home."
|
"You see in addition to working your heart," Courtney went on, "jumping rope also helps your body learn to balance. That's because you have to continuously adjust to being in the air, landing, and then jumping up again. Your upper and lower body muscle groups have to coordinate to you from tripping and falling."
"Wouldn't surprise me a bit to see the jumprope workout become more and more common for sports conditioning either. Aside from being a great exercise to lose inches, from what I understand rope jumping is an excellent cross-training activity."
And lets not forget that it's pretty much a have-rope-will-exercise kind of thing. As the jump rope's portability convenience and efficiency may even beat out resistance band training.
These are just a few of the reasons so many are turning to a fitness jump rope workout. Making it an integral part of their cardiovascular workout programs.
