How to Exercise to Lose Thigh Fat

Instead of flirty revealing tennis skirts do your hips make you want to cover up?

Or maybe sexy skimpy summer wear has you thinking seriously about hip reducing exercises? You know, looking for ways to burn fat from your hips?


Obviously, if you're asking "How do I slim down my thighs?" well, you'd expect any such exercise to reduce hips to involve pretty intense leg workouts, right? Good. Hip toning slimming exercises can be that way.

The first exercise to slim your hips is called the Back Wall Crawl.

You'll find this one works your glutes, legs and inner thighs.


Simply lean against a wall, slowly count to 10 and slide down the wall until your thighs are parallel to the floor. The slide back up at the same rate. Making sure to keep your back straight and against the wall.

Do 5 to 10 reps and you'll feel it working. Helping things to start to shape up nicely.

The next part of this series of hips toning exercises involved Deep Door Squats.

Open your bedroom door and face it so you can see both doorknobs. Put a kids ball on the floor a foot or so behind your heels. Keep your legs shoulder width apart. For balance extend your arms and grab hold of a doorknob with each hand. Again counting to 10 slowly - squat down until your rear end just caresses the ball. Hold that position. Then go back up to the standing position to the same count of 10. Do 5 to 10 reps.

Finally, there's one more exercise to lose thigh fat -- the Play Ball Squeeze

When standing, place any kids vinyl play ball between your thighs. Squeeze then relax -without letting the ball drop. Squeeze then relax for 10-20 reps.
