Can So Called 'Workouts to Get a Lean Body'

Candace Turner was 15 years old when she realized for the first time that a diet of fast food chased down by a large Pepsi wasn't exactly how to build lean body mass.


"I've found you need to 'exercise, eat right, stay healthy' in that order pretty much," Candace reported. "It can truly make a difference in your health."

"If you are downing too many calories of any kind, and it's easy to drink tons of calories with soda pop, you won't even sniff a slimmer waistline."

"As you can tell, pop doesn't make the cut of a list of healthy foods to eat," Turner admitted. "In fact I don't believe you should drink any kind of soft drink. It's just sugar water. While diet-pop is water loaded with chemicals."

Note: A 12-ounce can of pop has about 150 calories.

Another no no. Any health-foods-that-aren't. Stuff like granola bars or energy bars. "Read the label," Turner suggested. "You'll see they often are often packing between 200 and 300 calories each!. And who can eat just one?"

"Besides it's easy to find a list of healthy foods to eat online."

Another tip? "You should try to burn an extra 300 calories or so a day through aerobic work out routines."

Candace said, "Not only does a total-body fat-burning workout burn fat, it also gives you a stronger heart and more overall strength. It's the best way I know how to build lean body mass."

Next cut your calorie intake by another 250 calories a day. Which is easy if you're drinking two cans of pop a day.

Your goal here is to burn off or take in a total of 500 fewer calories every day. That's how to maintain lean body mass.

"See?" Turner implored. "All you have to do is… Exercise. Eat right. Stay healthy. Not hard."
